Asshole's gmail has been bouncing to me for years, and he's done nothing to fix it (though I begged him repeatedly to fix this and stop it). I filter out as much as I can, but some sneaks through. I enjoy unsubscribing him from everything: Yesterday, Starbucks. Today, Uber! pic.twitter.com/WT68zLmPVy

I see that the 'Sarco' suicide-by-nitrogen capsule has been cleared for use in Switzerland.
Sadly for all you investors out there, it's maker Exit International is a non-profit.
Still, I'm with Dylan Thomas on this one: 'Do not go gentle into that good night'.
So when do we get a suicide booth that offers an excruciating, stabby exit option?

Its maker, not it's maker.
Both Strunk AND White must think I'm a looser.

Racists prefer Strunk and White Supremacy.

Gog, I cut people slack when I see them use “it’s” as a possessive because I think it’s a somewhat reasonable mistake. And I think it’s somewhat reasonable since so many possessives have an apostrophe: e.g. David’s workshop; Ohio’s largest city; Boeing’s headquarters (although, of course, his, hers and theirs don’t have one.)
What drives me crazy is the bizarre — and quite common — use of an apostrophe in plurals: e.g. too many car’s; all of my friend’s; Christmas present’s.
I don’t recall ever seeing that when I was younger and I’m not sure what started that trend but I see it a lot now (or, should I say, these day’s.)

I can only hope that certain people here don't try to defend this bad habit as "popular usage."
When everyone believes in a dumb idea, it's still a dumb idea.
Grammarly exists for a reason, after all.
As well as popular books such as Woe is I. (There's an edition for kids as well.)
Children and foreigners who are struggling to learn how to write and communicate properly deserve better than a society that changes the rules every single year.

Well, if you hadn't untied Strunk's dog....

It's a pet peeve of mine; like nails on a chalkboard.
