According to a new study, laughter tickles the same part of your brain as a snort of coke. Hmm, how long before John Ashcroft outlaws jokes? I mean, besides the Bush administration's drug policies.

Oh, but any tweaker in Southern California could tell you -- between fits of twitches and eyelash-pulling -- that the bulk of our methamphetamine supply here is manufactured in that vast refuge for Al Qaeda members known as Lancaster and Palmdale. It's just crawling with terrorist plots out there.

Laugh therapy??? Neat idea! Just lock me up with a TV, DVD player and DVDs of Mystery Science Theater 3000 reruns (particularly the Godzilla flicks) and I guarantee you, I'll be rolling on the floor laughing for hours.
