I adore him! I still receive mail for a blog entry I wrote about him 2 years ago - he must have lots of female fans around the world. His co-anchor Hala is a sweet girl I met at a local Paris TV station when we were both slave/interns. One of the two did well obviously!
Don't know the guy. He's okay, but kind of "toothy." Still, at least he's at CNN and not the FAUX News Network.

Welcome home, Amy!
I do enjoy the Richard Quest, too.
He is such a freakin' weirdo ... almost seems human. On the Dish TV, he is usually on CNNfN each night from London.
Just like Art Bell on the radio as I go to sleep in the wee hours, Quest's crazy version of cable news is a pleasant, goofy tonic at the end of the night.
Love your Richard Quest reference! We first saw him last year on CNNI overseas, and couldn't get enough of him. Thanks to the magic of satellite TV, we still catch him late at night here whenever we can. His interactions with weather reporter Jenny Harrison are priceless.

And welcome back to blogland. You've been missed.
Hmm, Art Bell...perhaps you've heard my mad, brilliant friend Howard Bloom on Art Bell? HowardBloom.net
(mad in a good way, of course)
