Deserter Storm
A quote from an LA Weekly story about deserters; words spoken by a soldier who took off to Canada:
ìBut if Iím going to commit to killing people, there had better be a good reason. Not for the right of someone to drive an SUV with cheap gas.î

Some people probably think he should be thrown in jail, but I think it's punishment enough that he has to live in Toronto.
Just kidding! Jail's probably somewhat worse.

I guess the rights of people not be thrown headfirst into wood chippers or not to be gassed pale in comparison. Why don't they all just move?

So, tell me, Roberto, how did we forget to go into Sudan? Or North Korea? Or any number of other counties where people are brutalized and killed horribly?
