Amy - you should know this for what it is. Heinlein pointed out that the surest indication of a culture in decline is the condition of public restrooms.
Assorted stupid and inconsiderate people could not be trusted with toilet paper.
Ever wonder how many are Democrats, vs. Republicans?

I agree wth Heinlein.
As far as your question goes, no, my mind isn't anywhere near that narrow.
Ah, but you should think of these things. I guarantee political scientists do. As I wage a futile struggle to get people to recognize that rights have commensurate duties - when they often don't know what the word "duty" means - I remember a simple lesson:
Suppose that you tested fifty people entering the polls to vote on an issue, and you produced a chart of knowledge level about an issue. Immediately upon exiting, each subject then told you how they voted.
There are only two major effects you can identify: one is that knowledgeable and ignorant people voted differently, in which case ignorance negatively affected the outcome; the other is that there is no difference. Both of these scenarios is bad.
Thus, the pollster seeks to identify what ideas have penetrated the marketplace, in order to propagandize properly.
So: you've been consistent in calling out the foolish, brutish, boorish and stupid. Why not try a new idea on, such as this one: are Baptists more Republican or "conservative"? DO people who fill their house with crystals vote Democrat or Republican? That's really all I'm suggesting - the identification of demographics with voting trends.
