Amy & Lena's Excellent Paris Adventure
I'm in Paris and Lena has come to visit me for a few days to get further work done on her sex change operation in between eating escargot and seeing the sights. The view from our window:
The view from inside our window.
I expect to be in Seattle and Las Vegas next spring - anyone like to meet for coffee?

Christ what a view.
If you bump into Audrey Tattou, please pass her my number.

Cool View. As you're within spitting distance of the arc de triomphe, you must be very close to the "shopping-friendly" part of the Champs Elysees, no?
Have a nice trip!

P.S.: I've been to France in August, though not in Paris this time. But I loved it!

Wow! I want to know where you're staying. Hubby has been making noises about cashing in some of our frequent flyer miles to go to Paris next spring...

Sex change? Seriously? Has this been brought up yet? If not, let me be the first to congratulate Madame Lena!

So schmancy. The room I stayed in last time I was in Paris was just a dinky little closet overlooking the Gare de l'Est. You could only walk on the part of the floor directly over the beam, otherwise it would bow down and make all sorts of dangerous-sounding squeaks and groans. And you had to use some ancient-looking skeleton key to unlock the door. Actually, that was kind of cool.

I sure hope the bed's more comfortable than the furniture in the séjour!

I don't really like the Champs-Elysees, but this place is great. Not usually rentable, but the owner is on vacation in Mauritius. We lucked out! And it's very comfortable. The bed is great. The only problem -- I forgot the cables to my portable printer, so FNAC and 114 eu later...sigh...
