Nice. Glad you posted this before the long weekend. (Since I only have access at work. I'm taking the last week of February off. God knows what I'll miss.)

Wow. Wish I was there. How's the weather, Amy?

Beautiful photo. I think you need to go to the catacombs and report back with some photos!

Apparently, it was spring until I got here. I have been accused of bringing the cold with me.
Had a lovely lunch out in the 14th, a little trip to Musée Guimet to look at the big-breasted Asian goddesses, and walked all the way back with a little detour to Monoprix for le diner.
Everything here has what I think of as an "American tax" on it. Whatever the price is, figure out what 50 percent of it would be, and add that on top. The euro is worth about $1.50 right now. I'll be doing a lot of window shopping!
It's true eric, this isn't the worst way to learn about visiting Paris. (Amelie had better music though, and more aggressive color correction.) After a few years of this, you begin to understand why Amy keeps going back there. Now, if only I could be twenty-three years old, tall, good-looking and open-minded again, and then run into the the blonde with a scarf in a cafe.
Let's stalk her with Google. Where will she go tomorrow?
Seriously, in a few years, the image resolution will be so good we'll be able to tell whether or not she brought her dog with her.

We'll look down her blouse at her large American breasts- we are two wild and crazy guys!
You still got that thang for Audrey Tattou? I'm on a Paz Vega inatuation...

I'll go back to Bar du Marché and see about the blonde. Meanwhile, that actually is where I'm staying -- just off rue de l'Odeon. I really lucked out. Was supposed to be staying in the Marais, very nice, and I like it...tiny apartment with Wifi, but the Internet went out, so I got moved to the 6th arrondissement, a short distance from Gerard Mulot, fab patissier, and le Jardin du Luxembourg, and the French Sénat (not that I go there, but I buy wallets and things at their bookstore. Some girls wear Louis Vuitton, I think they're idiots. I pay about 650 percent less for my leather look goods chez Sénat, and nobody else has them. So there!)

Well, I really was 23 once.
PS- we both bungled the link. Her theater is upper right, her garden is lower left.
