Fitna: Geert Wilders Film About The Koran
Words and pictures from the death cult that is Islam.
*Here's a working link to Fitna on private servers. But, play the beginning of the video below to see how "the religion of peace" quashes free speech with death threats.
"Stop Islamization. Defend our freedom." -- Wilders' words at the end.
What's sick but to be expected from Islam is that there's a fatwa against Wilders for criticizing Islam, and not for distorting Islam in the least, as you'll see when you see the film. He uses the words from the Koran and the words of Muslim Imams and leaders themselves. He's not making things up. From the Dutch NIS News Bulletin, the intercepted words of the fatwa against Wilders:
"In the name of Allah, we ask you to bring us the neck of this unbeliever who insults Islam and the Muslims and ridicules the prophet Mohammed," the site says about Wilders, according to the newspaper. The message honours Mohammed Bouyeri as a hero. This Amsterdam-born Moroccan Muslim cut Islam-critic Theo van Gogh's throat on 2 November 2004. The message also appeals for readers to "terrorise" the Netherlands to prevent Wilders' controversial film on the Koran from being broadcast.
Remember when Christians didn't like a movie being put out about their religion, Scorcese's The Last Temptation Of Christ? Their protests, by comparison, are almost cute. One site called it "blasphemous and boring," and asked "How low can Hollywood go?" More on that site from angry Christians:
"How is it . . . that the King of the Universe can be subjected to such ignominy and disrespect?!" asked Dr. James Dobson, President of Focus on the Family."The most serious misuse of film craft in the history of film making," was the verdict of Reverend Lloyd Ogilvie, of the First Presbyterian Church in Hollywood.
"I have never come across a more blatant attack on Christianity," was the opinion of Dr. Don Wildmon, Executive Director of the American Family Association.
"Absolutely the most blasphemous, degenerate, immoral depraved script and film that I believe it is possible to conceive," concluded Bill Bright, President of Campus Crusade for Christ.
Woooo, scary.
I don't know about you, but I'll take being called "blasphemous and boring" over being beheaded any day. You?

Amy, after I stopped crying, I just became SO ENRAGED!! Throats must be split and skulls must be shattered. Fucking bastards. Religion of peace, my fat white ass. Kill them all. Sick fucks. Where's my damn sword?
Flynne at March 28, 2008 6:09 AM
So you are calling for the same thing - murder and death in the streets? um. ok. I guess I will include you in the "sick fuck" category.
THe world would be a damn sight better off without any religion. I don't know when anyone will learn that there is no "god". It has been a complete and utter sham forced upon the people to keep them stupid and ignorant and busy hating other people.
And stop crying - there are so many unanswered questions about 911 that you are quite possibly hating an entire people for no reason. Go to YouTube and check out "Zeitgeist" and inform yourself to other possibilities out there.

Um, no. I want my sword for protection, I'm not using it until someone directly threatens me or my family. Forewarned is forearmed.
And stop crying - there are so many unanswered questions about 911 that you are quite possibly hating an entire people for no reason.
Don't cast apersions on me, you have no idea what I've seen and been through. I don't hate anyone but the bastards who are promoting death to all who are not like them. STFU, already. Did you watch the film? Seeing what happened in MY backyard again just drove home the point that Islam is a death wish that is being imposed on ANYONE who is not Muslim. Get a clue your own self.
Flynne at March 28, 2008 7:56 AM
Throats must be split and skulls must be shattered.
And just so you know, this was NOT my quote. It was a quote from one of the Imams in the film, and it was directed against anyone who isn't muslim.

Isn't the old take over the world thing really played out? Fascinating how a book can give people this delusion. What standing armies are going to conquer the world? Come on, terrorizing is part of the game, but if they think they can out-do the Romans - that is just laughable.

Hooray, a 9/11 truther! Tell us more! I bet it was the Jews who did it, right? Or was it the Bush administration (though their competence in other matters argues against this possibility)? It wasn't a plane that hit the Pentagon, it was a missle! Occam's razor, dude.
Can we change the submit button? It feels so Islamic
Hah!
justin case at March 28, 2008 9:01 AM
kbling, there are different ways of taking over the world. You can do it with armies and invasions, or you can do it by dispersing your followers and encouraging them to use certain elements present in their new cultures to begin taking over slowly but surely. What happens when the UK is majority Muslim and that majority starts pushing for sharia law? Evidently the Archbishop of Canterbury is all for the idea. What happens when the young thugs rioting in France reach a critical mass? (Though I'm actually slightly more hopeful about France at the moment, as I think that Sarkozy would get seriously, seriously unhappy, in a forceful way, if anyone tried to make Carla Bruni wear a burka.) Ask Ayaan Hirsi Ali if a movement needs armies to be able to direct and/or control the actions of other nations.
But Amy, you forgot about something very important having to do with "The Last Temptation of Christ." Christians picketed. Yes, they picketed! I saw them when I and my Christian family went to see the movie (which we actually thought was very religious in nature - I especially liked its take on Judas). Picketing! Horrors. I'm sure Scorsese was shuddering all the way to the bank.
mg at March 28, 2008 9:04 AM
The film really upset me, but I reposted for my friends...while advising Wilder to follow Rushdie's example.
I think what bothered me the most was the little girl who said Jews were apes and pigs. I mean all the other stuff was adults, they chose to do what they do and (theoretically) they have the capacity to know killing is wrong, people should be able to be any religion etc. however the little girl is only 3, she's not capable of reconciling what she hears with who she knows (although I doubts she met a single jew).

Jeff at March 28, 2008 10:31 AM
Disturbing film. Although I try to find humor in everything in life, I can't seem to do it here. And I suppose we all have an opinion about Islam and terrorism. There are many blogs for discussions on that.
But there is one fact: Radical Islam wants all infidels dead. Period. Western society cannot change that fact. There can be no 'negotiated' settlement between the West and radical islam. The BEST we in the West can hope for is a standoff, where we are as free as we can be, and radical Islam is kept at bay, at least in terms of terrorism. I'd prefer to keep the culture out of my life(the culture of radical islam, not muslim culture).
I may sound like a dork, but I like my girls scantilly clad, my beer cold, my weed skunky, and my body parts intact. And these are the things that radical islam hates, and they personalize behavior, which means they hate me, and will stop at nothing to kill me (or the other several hundred million of us in the West).
I think as we see videos like this and actually understand what we are up against, it might help unite all of us-democrats/republicans, liberals/conservatives, cats/dogs; LA/NYC in a fight against radical islam. Now, as to how we conduct that fight, well i'll leave that discussion to some other blog.
And I am cool with clicking the 'submit' button on Amy's blog. She wears really cool shoes...
Sterling at March 28, 2008 10:36 AM
Heh heh...I'll have to try that in real life, snarling "Submit!" at people.
I had luck with "IN-appropriate!" when I was at Kaiser and a girl started yammering into her cell to a captive audience.
There's plenty of evidence that plenty of Muslims want the rest of us forcibly converted or dead, and the planet under rule of Sharia Islamo-fascism. Even if you are nitwitty enough to believe the hooha of the 9-11 conspiracy theorists, who elevate stupidity into a religion of sorts.
Amy Alkon at March 28, 2008 10:53 AM
"There's plenty of evidence that plenty of Muslims want the rest of us forcibly converted or dead, and the planet under rule of Sharia Islamo-fascism." Ah now we are absolute agreement on the topic. When it comes to radical fundies there is peace, or coexistence wipe the frigger out or they get you.
"I guess I will include you in the "sick fuck" category." I'd very much appreciate if you included me in that group. So long as they preach that they will heal my ignorance with knowledge and debate I see no difference between them and Jehovah's Witnesses annoying but not deserving of extermination. The minute they suggest harming me or mine in the here and now (as opposed to hell in the after life) to make me convert I see no qualms what so ever with responding with extreme violence and lethal force.
"Go to YouTube and check out "Zeitgeist" and inform yourself to other possibilities out there." I have an all I can say is. This is the only reason I would support socialized medicine. The whole lot of them need to stop taking what ever they are and switch to the newest anti-psychotics, start taking them like skittles.

mg "...to begin taking over slowly but surely."
With the massive amount of pure-bred rednecks that won't take to kindly to any restriction of their freedoms and all the homies that aren't likely to drop their long bling for a long beard - within this century, I can't imagine they (Muslims) have that much patience. Hitler had a better chance than these hardheads. It was humorous to see Muslims (in the movie) holding up Hitler signs when he would have killed them eventually too.

If you want to throw around various stereotypes, I won't try to stop you, but I will point out that, over time, the majority has tended to win. And right now, "native" Westerners just aren't having that many kids, on average, compared to the Muslim immigrants pushing for sharia law.
Now, I do think the U.S. is much more well-positioned than Europe, for a whole host of reasons - higher level of individualism in the culture, higher birth rate overall, more dynamic and diverse societal structure, etc. etc. Plus, the U.S. arguably pulls in the cream of the crop in terms of *all* legal immigrants, and Muslim immigrants are no exception. We tend to get the doctors and lawyers who want their sons and their daughters to be doctors and lawyers. And if someone were to start pushing sharia law here, you'd have a whole lot of people from other religions saying, "Okay, but then I want to live under the laws from MY religion." There's a reason that Mark Steyn's book is called America Alone. But Europe is a very, very different story.
mg at March 28, 2008 12:58 PM
"Radical Islam wants all infidels dead. Period."
This is not, strictly speaking, true. They don't want us dead. They want us as obedient dhimmis. Second class citizens who know our place under our Islamic masters.
I'm not defending Islam. But I think it's important to know EXACLY what we are dealing with.

That exactly the point I was going to answer your comment with. This fight will be no fun, but we can't lose. We have too many resources at our disposal and too many personal interests to protect.
Europe: Who knows. They say the EU's constitution is now about 5,000 pages long. I've never read it... But I'd bet that after maybe page 3985, a reader would come to believe it was the orderly bookeeping of the Euroclerks that brought peace to continent for the first time in 500 years, and not the soldiers provided by American taxpayers.
It's the nature of blessings that you don't care for them so well unless you've earned them. If the same reason that there are probably "princes" in Saudi Arabia who think you can have Western-style blessings (airlines, etc) under a caliphate. They haven't noticed that caliphates are all about stagnation.

"I'm not PRO baby seal clubbing" I never said you were pro baby seal clubbing. I was just asking for clarification. I agree with the fact that the spread of Islam as the fundies see is a far greater threat. Given their prolific breeding baby seals (as well as anything else) will be made into food as earth has finite space. All fundies are under the impression that it is their god given duty to breed till the earth is filled past capacity. Thus if they had their way all living things that is not them would be food to feed the breading engine.
Why not rally the anti-baby seal clubbers against the fundy nut jobs?

kbling - you are right about the rednecks. When the class war that the Kossacks are pining for finally breaks out they are fucked because the "progressives" are all for gun control, and the rednecks are all armed.
Europe, as a whole, is lost to Islam. And the problem that poses for us is that when the Muslims hit 51% of the population they take over demographically, without firing a single shot and without severing a single head. And then the new Caliphate is in control of the nuclear weapons stock of England and France.
And anyone who believes that 9/11 was not the act of 19 muslims striking a blow against the great satan needs to be euthanized. We can no longer allow people with minds that soft to continue consuming precious resources. Even the most devout of fundamentalist Christians manage to be productive members of society. None of the truthers have jobs because they're all too insane to interact with normals.

In a world that quite often seems insane, I had a wonderful time this week with ten students visiting TAMU here in Texas from TAMU Qatar. All muslim, and all horribly against the islamo-fasts. My official work was to introduce them to the nuts and bolts of the datacenter. However, much of the informal talk was about TAMU as a military university and the war in the middle east.
They left this afternoon on a military transport back to the middle east without seeing this video, but they are part of the solution to fight islamo-nuts.

The Reformation tamed Western religion, by the sword. So it will be with Islam. Islam will be annihilated if it does not reform.
War is an instrument of political policy. When we talk of warring on "radical Islam" (or more accurately Islamism), we talk about a political policies. War is of two types, limited and unlimited. Unlimited war aims to annihilate a political entity as a political force. Limited war aims to coerce a political entity into a course of action more advantageous to another entity. War is generally used to protect vital national interests.
Is Islamism a threat to vital national interests? Most assuredly, yes. Islamists have publicly stated their intention to attack all US interests, everywhere. They have publicly declared their intention to acquire and use weapons of mass destruction on the US. They exert a tremendous anti-American cultural influence throughout the world. They successfully killed 4,000 US citizens, disrupted the US economy, shook international alliances. Islamists are a threat to US vital interests.
Unfortunately, they are also para-national. The Dar al-Islam is a nation of nations in many city-states. Then, how to war against them?
We have an example from history that may provide a political model. First, it demonstrates that war on a para-national, Muslim terrorist group can succeed. Second, it shows the method: apply the instruments of national power to the states that harbor the terrorists. Can this be done in our circumstances?
With much more difficulty. We now have a strategic interest in oil under the control of regimes that tolerate Islamists. This means that limited war may not be an option. Unlimited war may be required or at least present as a credible threat.
Some here have voiced concerns about killing Islamists, fearing that would be the same as Islamists killing us. This equivocates over the meaning of "the same." It also ignores the obvious: they will kill us. As a practical matter, it is just a matter of who pulls the trigger first. Does anyone doubt that Islamists would use a weapon of mass destruction on the US? Does anyone doubt the fate of our people who fall into their hands?
Here is the best reply to those who think the wars waged by the West and the Islamists are the same. To paraphrase Ms. Watan, "brother, you can believe in stones if you like, just don't throw them at me." I'd like to add, "or we will publicly, brutishly kill you."
Jeff at March 28, 2008 11:59 PM
The trouble we face isn't armies, and it isn't terrorism. Both are inconvenient, and both can be met by well established methods.
The threats we face are more complicated when it comes to radical Islam.
Let me put forth a few examples, sumarized in brief:
Many years ago foreign workers, sailors, etc. went en masse into the United Kingdom of Hawaii, many stayed. Before long the Hawaiians were a minority in their own country. The foriegners overrode the government at the time, and with assistance from the U.S. the monarchy was overthrown and with a statehood vote, the islands were admitted to the union. The local population was essentially outbred and overridden in their own land.
In Texas, the western moving population of the United States pressed in on Mexican land, largely welcomed at first due to the profits to be had, and in a territory that was only sparsely populated at the time, it wasn't disruptive. Eventually the population of Americans out numbered the population of Mexicans. When Mexican law became inconvenient, the Americans broke away.
In Tibet today China dispatches thousands of citizens to Tibetan majority areas, in order to settle the area and outbreed and marginalize the population of Tibetans.
During the years of immigration of Italian & Irish immigrants, the immigrating population was socially marginalized, but also quick to assimilate, the high birthrate of the native population of Americans was able with only social inconveniences, to absorb the high birthrate & immigration rate, of foriegners, and so assimilate the population.
Presently immigration is high in Europe, from majority Muslim populations, these populations have a much higher birthrate than their local european counterparts.
Now what happens if that trend continues, and the Islamized muslim population starts assimilating the European portion, rather than the reverse?
Unlike the Irish & Italian immigrants to the U.S., there is no great open western land for the population to filter to, and there is no high birthrate to absorb them, nor is there even an interest by the foriegn population, TO integrate & assimilate into the society of their adopted country or culture.
So what happens? What positive spin can be put on this? Anyone?

In Detroit, the mayor professes his innocence, and holds council meetings, in his church who back him. Murders go unresolved and the Prosecuting Attorney who charged him is receiving death threats. I don't recall his brand of religion, nor can I prove it's church goers who are threatening lives, but the correlation is at best scary.

Hilarious. Do tell us what's incorrect in Fitna, what these "misrepresentations" of Islam are.
Until 9-11, when I started reading about Islam, I saw Muslims like I saw astrology buffs -- silly people who believe in something without evidence.
Now, I know a good deal about Islam, and I see how dangerous it is. No, not all Muslims are a danger to the rest of us -- but when their numbers overpower those of the rest of us with Enlightenment values, and they institute Sharia law, and convert, kill, or tax into dhimmitude the rest of us...AS THE KORAN COMMANDS...we "infidels" are all kinda fucked, huh?
PS What kind of evil, fucking backward religion puts out fatwas on people for criticizing it? It's the religion of adult children with low self-esteem if I ever saw one, and I'm not exactly a fan of the other systems of belief, sans evidence, Judaism and Christianity.
But, when's the last time you heard of a rabbi standing up before his congregation telling them to go kill people who don't believe as the Jews do?
