Mann Working
Actually, it's Gregg with two G's, and he's doing a few fixes on my site. He's now swatted most of the big bugs and comments are now working -- although the formatting on them is a little off (names above the comment, same size as the comment text, etc). Sorry about this...all will be swept up very soon. -Amy

There are many Mexicos. The Mexico of Mexico City, which has all the vices of any large city. The Mexico near the American border, which has attracted lowlifes and criminals.
And all the space in between, where people may be poor, but they are honest, hardworking and lovable. Don't paint the whole country with the same brush...

Seems like I've seen a lot of the higher-volume bloggers getting away from MT and moving to WordPress.

Hello? Testing, testing... Is this thing on? Can you hear me in the back?
1. Drudge says Hillary's asked her staff to submit expense reports. See you in 2012, Hill.
2. The VF article makes the point that Democrats would righteously expect Bill Clinton to bring all his political genius to supporting nominee Obama, even if Hillary doesn't get the veep slot.
3. A friend says the Democrats should be sure of choosing a nominee that the Supreme Court likes.

We're in recovery, but also on deadline. Thanks for that link. I read a little -- will read the rest tonight.
VP predictions?

VP predictions?
Not Hilary for several reasons:
Plus I just don't like or trust her. No matter what, it is again a choice of the worst candidates in the USA, instead of a contest between our best and brightest. Our best and brightest realize it is an unthankful job that anyone who wants it should be disqualified.

Yeah, umm, Gregg has 3 "g" 's in it.
Carry on.

"Gregg has 3 "g" 's in it."
Hee hee, I did that in college once. Neumann has three "n"s in it.

Hilary won't take the Veep nomination for the simple reason that there's nothing in it for her. Consider: If she runs as Obama's running mate and they lose, her future Presidential aspirations have taken a major hit. On the other hand, if they win, then she can't run again for President until 2016 (she can't very well oppose her running mate in 2012), and she's not exactly a spring chicken now.
Cousin Dave at June 3, 2008 8:58 AM
Hadn't thought of that, Dave, good point...
OTOH, if she's morbid enough to remember what happened to RFK, she's probably ghoulish enough to remember what happened to LBJ, too.
Crid at June 3, 2008 9:33 AM
PS- She'll be younger in 2016 than McCain is now.

A comment about comments.
Please use a layout that makes it clear who authored which submission. On some blogs, pages are just alternating lists of submissions and attributions, and it can be very hard to tell whether the attribution applies to the preceding submission or the following one. Horizontal rules are not enough, as some designers put the rule between the submission and its attribution, while others don't, so there's no consistency.
It would also be nice if the home page had links to the articles with the 10 latest postings. But that's a change in function, not style.
