Made ya look! I'm in Virginia until late next week, and I miss posting but I don't have regular access while I'm out and about. I'll check back when I can. Miss ya all! o_O
Amy, are you in Paris ?
Then you must have heard of the latest decision of the Conseil d'Etat, the highest administrative court of justice in France.
French citizenship was definitely denied to a Moroccan woman married to a Frenchman and mother of three. The woman was wearing head to toe black veils, with a slit for the eyes, and was living like a recluse in her home.
The Coucil stated that living in such conditions of total submission, fully accepted, was contrary to the values of the Republic which required gender equality.
Sorry for commenting out of subject, but I thought this would be of interest to you.

Thanks, Alain Q...actually, I'm in Los Angeles now. It's a shot from the last time I was there, taken while walking back from Jeu de Pomme with Sue Rynski, who, by the way, has a show of her Bookies Lounge (early punk in Detroit) photos in the 6th, rue Mazarine, forget which gallery...Nivet with another name...in Pariscope, je suis sur.
Anyway, I hadn't heard about this...very interesting, must look this up. Don't mind the out-of-subject comment...can't wait to read about this.
