Suffer In Comfort
Gregg and I went with Emily and Pierre (our retired 70-year-old Parisian master carpenter-friend) to the show under the Louvre of artisan-created items -- tables, jewelry, really ugly stuff to hang on your walls, and a really deluxe birdhouse. I really liked this reclining crucifix above, by François Germain, in the really wild furniture section. (Some people die for their sins, some people just rest for them.)

Crid, that was an interesting pic, but my parents and their friends didn't dress like that. Of course, I grew up on the East Coast, so maybe they did in the summer and I just don't remember (thankfully!).
