We're at 56 degrees right now on the coast of Long Island Sound, but that'll change soon enough, the forecast is for snow tomorrow! o.O

That guy looks much more "chips" than "caviar" with his Ricard. The homeless are dying like flies this winter...or at least it is more publicized this year. I wonder if they let him sleep there.

I took my little boy to the public library yesterday- it was shocking how many homeless people were there. You rarely see homeless in North Idaho, but the bitter cold brought them in, many families.
Where are you talking about Liz?

What am I talking about? The sign above him encourages you to drink Ricard (an very strong alcoholic anisette)regardless of your social class or budget...with chips or caviar. Considering that this guy is most likely homeless and alcoholic, I said that he was definitely on the "chips" side of the scale, which is exactly why this pic is poignant. Homeless people in Paris HAVE being dying at a great rate in Paris this winter, and considering that many of them pass the entire day in the Métro stations, I wondered if the Ratp lets them spend the night there after closing. They certainly do sleep there, so that was badly phrased.
It's been dropping below zero here the last couple days. Oh to be in Hawaii.

Eeek - and my pilot light in my heater went out, but I'm a lightweight, freezing in Southern California.
