Well crap, the world has gone to hell. I'd better get my pants so I can go try and fix things.

Anyone who is serious about being a real American (in the tradition of the rugged individualist) will engage in outright defiance of these bans, as well as other unconstitutional laws.
There's a very real possibility that, some time in the next coupla three years, I'll go to jail for asserting my rights as a free human.
My guess is it'll be the census in 2010. I will send my census form in with the number of humans in the house filled in, and nothing else answered, citing Article 1, Section 2 of the Constitution as my authority. It authorizes an "enumeration" (defined as a count) every ten years for the express purpose of apportioning taxes and representation between the states, and for no other reason.
There is no constitutional requirement to give any other information (race, religion, number of flush toilets, etc., etc.). Government collects this info from us largely to divide us into groups and set us against one another. I do not recognize the constitutionality of the statute that makes it a criminal offense not to give the information. Thus, unless my wife volunteers info on anything involving me against my express request not to, I'll probably be jailed on that.
Whether it's this or something else, all of us must decide when, if ever, we are going to take a stand. If we don't, it'll only get worse.
Nannyism is one of my pet peeves. Sorry for the rant, or if this is a bit off-topic. Now I'm back on my meds.

Why is it that in hospitals, the staff will leave the TV on in the rooms of coma patients? I know there's a theory that they can hear, so why not leave them a radio? What idiot thinks they can see?!
