Not Exactly Top Ramen
Pot au feu, eaten by a friend of ours, Paris.
Sorry the photo's kinda yellow, but it looks better without the flash.

In Italy, that got me a nice big plate of cow tail at Perilli, a restaurant in the meat packing district owned by the family of friends of mine. They thought it was very funny. It was actually delicious...swish, swish.

OMG Pot au Feu...the ultimate dish for a cold winter's night. It was a regular favortite of mine in Paris. Hell...I'd fly to France in February just for a good Pot au Feu because I can't find one in Los Angeles.
Amy, if you find it here...please post about it!
Also missed is a good fondue or raclette with a sharp tasty white wine on a cold snowy night.

Yes, the flash can make food look surprisingly garbage-like. I feel warm just looking at this dish. Paris in the winter sounds lovely.

It looks like Indiana food. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just saying...

Ox-tail soup (and other recipes) is a common dish in Korean food as well.
Semi-off Ox-tail:
If you like that you should find a Korean place that serves bi bim bop (pronounced be bim bop) just about anywhere. Can be done vegan or with meat. Everyone I've introduced it to over the years just basically goes face down in the bowl until its empty. :-)
