Nobody Cares When Arabs Kill Arab Babies
Israelis try very hard to avoid killing children. Clearly, if they wanted to, they could bomb Gaza flat. But, they don't. In fact, they lament the loss of life -- even Arab and Muslim lives; it's an essential part of Judaism, the value for human life. I'm an atheist, but I can appreciate the difference -- the one Israel's critics cover their ears and shout real loud (something about Jews back into the ovens, I'm guessing) to drown out. Cleveland Indy Media Center points out the obvious:
Since the establishment of the State of Israel, hundreds of thousands of Arabs and Muslims have been butchered, most of them by Arabs and Muslims. Israel's "contribution," including all the wars and the two Intifadas has been quite small -- in proportion to Arab deaths -- yet it disproportionately fires up the media and the "human rights" establishment. In Iraq, on average, scores of Arabs are killed, assassinated daily. Every week one reads how a Sunni blew herself up and killed 40 or 60 Shiites. Babies included. Guess what: This is not headline news. Nobody makes posters of these dead Arab babies. CNN cameramen don't get excited over this particular carnage.
Algeria: In 1992, civil war broke out. Psychopathic Islamists with machetes hacked to death 110,000 Algerian civilians. No tears flowed down the cheeks of Western "rights activists." No pictures of these dead Arabs -- babies, children, women and men -- appeared on posters in European or American streets. No marches to protest on behalf of these murdered Arabs. Maybe it would be seen as Politically Incorrect to show a non-Western culture as barbarian. Can that possibly outweigh the souls of the dead Algerians? To "rights groups" -- yes it does.
The Syrian dictatorship killed 10-20,000 civilians in the town of Hama, in 1982. No photographers were allowed of course, but there were images of the dead on the internet. Yet you never saw any of that on a "human rights" poster.
In Darfur, the jihadis are slaughtering and enslaving African Muslims. Darfuris do get some notice, but only because the PC "Save Darfur" movement bends over backwards to hide the war's cause: age-old Arab imperialism. But guess what: the hard anti-Israeli left, with its Islamist allies, defends Khartoum and calls the Save Darfur movement a Zionist plot. (A Zionist plot to cover up Arab imperialism in Africa?)
All this does not begin to account for the millions of non-Arabs and non-Muslims murdered, enslaved, subjugated and/or dispossessed by jihadis -- in this century alone. Christians in Iraq, Sudan, and Egypt murdered and enslaved. Somehow their dead children don't evoke pain in the hearts of the anti-Israel crowd.
This is a fraud: These folks are not deeply concerned about Arab deaths. Their tears flow only when Jews (fighting back) cause these deaths. It's not about human rights. It's not about dead children. It's Western guilt, now focused on Jews.
Well, of course not. It's like an eleventh commandment: "That shalt not criticize another culture." Even if they happen to be killing each other in massive numbers or arresting shape-shifting goats on charges of theft.
I fear that all the West has done is replace Euro-centrism of the 19th Century with cultural relativism. Why can no one take a more nuanced view that there are some things about the West that are screwed up, but there are a lot of things about the non-Western world that are screwed-up too? Why don't people just think?

It's maddening how slanted the media coverage is against the Jews. On 60 minutes a week or 2 ago there was a story on Jewish settlers on the west bank. As part of the story Scott Pelley said something like: "After Israel Invaded Gaza causing scores of casualties ..." (video of Israeli tanks rolling along is shown at the same time)
I was dumbfounded. Apparently Israel was bored one day and just decided on a whim to invade Gaza. Not a single mention of the rockets that have been dropping on Israel. It's so fucking dishonest.

I don't think all the jijadis in the world are nearly as effective as western self loathing.

Well, if memory serves, Algeria did its best to kick out all western journalists.
But then again, don't forget to mention all of the oh, 14-25 year old girls Antar Zouabri and his Green Brigade seized, used, and deposited in wells outside of Blida.
Ever hear of that one in the western media? Maybe Le Monde.
Stop it. How many Arabs that Jews kill, how many Arabs that Arabs kill.....
How many of use are Jews killing, and how many of us are Arabs killing. Or trying to kill. THAT is the issue. And I don't think there were any Israeli suicide bombers targeting US locations any time recently.... or ever.

"It's Western guilt, now focused on Jews."
I got through the Cleveland Indy Media Center article just fine until the last sentence. How is selective indignation a manifestation of Western guilt? Could it just be simple malice?

It's much simpler than that.
Judenhass isn't called "The Oldest Hatred" for nothing.
I mean, it's always available as a convenient foil to distract from the internal problems of a nation, isn't it?
Most of your middle-eastern Islam-dominated nations are using judenhass to keep their people's attention off the fact that they are running their countries into the ground. Hitler certainly did.
There just seems to be (especially in Europe and the Middle East) a deep vein of malice for Jews and Judaism that's always available to tap, and never fails to unite disparate parties in an orgy of hatred and murder.
I'll never understand it for as long as I live.

I think I understand quite well where the hatred comes from. The sources are Islam and Christianity, for different reasons of course.

Please explain the slaughter of Jews prior to the birth of Christ. That would put the hatred of Jews (damn, Judenhass just sounds so much more sinister) prior to the invention of either Islam or Christianity.
I cannot, and I suspect you cannot either.

I believe B.C. the issue was monotheism vs polytheism. The Romans, Greeks and a large majority of of the conquered believed in a bunch of small gods that controlled various small aspects of nature vs one big god that did it all. So it came down to my big god can beat up your small gods; so there. :-p
Religion in ancient Rome

whatever gods or religious superstitous nonsense that originated from the black world, that the blacks come up with or exported to ancient Rome, it was evil and is still evil. hopefully, their most recent evil islamic mania (and their extreme disrespect towards the liberty of other nonbelievers/countries) will come to an end soon and leaves us nonbelievers less fearful, more freedom and more choice.
