The red tulip must have some sort of unfair advantage due to its hue. It must be knocked down so that the yellow tulips have the same opportunities to grow as tall as the red.

Juliana, you've got it right, for sure. Why settle for equal opportunity when, with just a little effort (whining), you can get assured equality of results.
