Like A Bird Shitting On The Statue Of Liberty
Althouse blogs, "The Air Force 1 flight over NYC can't possibly have been made for the purpose of taking that photograph." She continues: "But look at the picture. Why would people going to all this trouble and expense to get a photograph that looked so awful?"

I saw a much better quality version of that photo somewhere else, so either this one was purposely degraded, or a very good Photoshop artist fixed up the one I saw. It also had a dark shadowy blob in the bottom right corner though, as if something obscured a portion of the lens, so if it had been Photoshopped better, not sure why they wouldn't have fixed that at the same time.

Why would they have taken it with ugly NJ in the background rather than the NY skyline? Is it certain that this is the actual publicity shot?

And as Hey Skipper already explained, there was no additional cost incurred in flying this mission. That's a simple lie given legs by class envy.

As for the less than perfect shot, having taken photographs and movies from airplanes of other airplanes, it ain't easy.
Hope I don't get caught in the spam filter.

Apple has just announced the release of Ipad with similar pricing and better features for their entry level model. Do you think this will affect the Kindle DX market? Thanks :)
