Page and Andrew Dornenburg, who make cooking gourmet food accessible even to culinary losers, won the 2009 James Beard Book Award for Reference and Scholarship for their book The Flavor Bible: The Essential Guide to Culinary Creativity, Based on the Wisdom of America's Most Imaginative Chefs.
