In other offtopic news, this guy is often thought of as arrogant, because he made Terry Gross cry (or whatever). The interview makes him seem remarkably humble... True leaders listen more than they talk, and all that.

Terrific Gene Simmons interview, Crid.
He comes off as a self-servingly charismatic old fart with a silver tongue and a vicious streak. Spookily familiar, somehow...

I sympathize with people who loathe him, but he's made a great living ("self-servingly") by giving 'em what they want, and he figured it out by listening to the market. He wants his name spelled right in the papers; but he's eagerly following, not leading.

Somewhere hangs a haunted oil painting of that man that is covered with warts and boils.

Reagan. The man was unnaturally well-preserved.

Just a reminder that Principles don't change, while the slimes in charge today have none. Reagan's principles were steadfast and based on proven results - the moron's today either don't have our country's best interest heart or they don't understand that what they espouse has failed everywhere it's been tried.
Hopefully someday we will see another RWR, and not just a phalanx of pretenders seeking to exploit his greatness.
Now was that before or after he tagged Angie Dickinson?

Good speech. I'd vote for him.

Bill Maher makes fun of Republicans by saying that "they're gay for Reagan."
If that's the case, then I too am gay for Reagan.

History will remember Ronaldus Magnus as the greatest president of the twentieth century. Maybe the second greatest, behind JFK.
History won't remember Bill Maher.
Take from that what you will.
