Note the blue area in the aerial photo, seen along the ground in Gregg's shot as well... That area is a shallow bowl that can be filled with water when they want to simulate oceans. I presume they move the parked cars first, but maybe not... It's only guest parking anyway.

So the mural is used as a backdrop for outdoor shots? What I know about movie making is nothing.
Paramount, about a block south of Entertainment Tonight. That's right over the lagoon.
