Apropos of the drill/driver mention -
If any of your loyal followers has ever had the opportunity to use a drill/driver versus just a drill, he or she will know how ridiculously good the former is. My brother demonstrated this to me with a 2x4 and drywall screws. He gave me a regular cordless drill and a drywall screw and had me sink it into a 2x4. Not difficult but as it went all the way in, there was evident effort going into the wood.
Then the drill/driver for the same test and zip-zap pow! The screw was flush sunk in a moment and it was like sinking the proverbial hot (maybe warm) knife into butter.
If anyone's looking to buy new or upgrade, I can strongly recommend the drill/driver over the drill. But I'm a guy so have one of each, enh?
