How To Avoid Incriminating Yourself
Professor James Duane of Regent University School of Law tells you everything you need to know about talking to the cops:
The cop, Officer George Bruch, talks here. (There's a bit of black at the beginning, then it gets going.)
It's Sunday, maybe you have some time. This is absolutely worth watching.
Wow. Great post Amy.

I've seen this before, but it's well worth re-watching. All those posting about the previous blog entry saying the guy should have cooperated should watch it.

I watched the whole thing yesterday -- including the second video at the link. It's not often I'll give over nearly an hour of my writing day to watch YouTube videos, but these were absolutely worth it.
And I say that as somebody whose close friend is a cop. She's told me to NEVER let a police officer into my home (I mean, besides socially). And she recommends a no trespassing sign outside to tell them they cannot enter.
She also suggests that women, especially, carry pepper spray on their keychains and have it in places in their house. I pull mine out and put it in the armed position whenever I'm going to get my car in a parking garage. You can get one at Big 5 sporting goods or at Amazon. There's one in my Amy's Mall - the one I have.

Hopefully the pepper spray isn't for the police.
