Dangerous Criminal Selling Of Groceries
I've blogged about this before, the raid on Rawesome Foods in Venice -- but there's more detail of what jerks the agents were, and how ridiculous the whole thing was.
The government should not be able to tell us what we can and can't eat.

Disgusting. I've known several authorities who actually recommend raw dairy, as the pasteurization process fuses the amino acids and kills off essential microflora to aid in digestion.
This is nothing but harassment from the pasteurized dairy industry. If people want to eat raw dairy, they should be allowed to.

I have a hard enough time finding a local raw milk source without worrying about the government trying to shut them down. I'm an adult and make the cobscious decision of what I want to eat or not and resent outside interference and regulation on the matter!

I'm very tired of the government using laws to protect industries from competition.

Ok where the fuck is the ACLU. Isn't this all sorts of civil rights violations. Or is the ACLU too chicken shit to take on the FDA.

I won't disagree with that notion. Sadly, they'll turn around and sue everyone up supply chain if they get sick.
All it'll take is one.

It's a private club, like the gal said. Don't they sign some type of agreement as far as lawsuits? I don't know.
One of Rawsome's cheese suppliers has been making cheese for 30 years w\o a single reported illness, supposedly. http://morninglanddairy.webs.com/apps/blog/
The clientele remind me of the anti-vaccination crowd -- but the pathogens in raw dairy aren't contagious, are they?

The more government you have, the more you become enslaved.

Raw milk -- yuck! But I see no compelling interest for the government to restrict it.

Raw milk -- yuck!
Have you tried it? It does taste fantastic, IMHO. The cream just makes it taste so much better. I can't stand 2% or skim, But tastes varies.
But this was provocation -- if it is milk they are after -- why did you take gallons of honey? Yes, everyone knows raw honey probably has some botulism -- don't give it raw to a kid under two -- and if you want to as baked goods.
But if they raid this place -- then they need to raid every single sushi place in the U.S.
Definition: su·shi: n. Cold cooked rice dressed with vinegar that is shaped into bite-sized pieces and topped with raw or cooked fish, or formed into a roll with fish, egg, or vegetables and wrapped in seaweed.
