What was the outcome of the duel?

The final outcome was a long time coming: http://www.jstor.org/stable/30150885 which is an article from the Florida Historical Quarterly in 1990. Tradewell didn't actually get his duel. It is a long read, but it gives insight into territorial Florida and the volatile nature of politics at the time.
