Peer review? Where are they going to find enough stupid people for that?

Ya know... I saw a blurb on Dr. Oz the other day on how his guest was all about homeopathy... and I was shocked. After the dustup with Taubes on his show, he greets "hand-wave" science with open arms?
It was so ludicrous I couln't believe my eyes. It was last friday's show.

Swiss, Dr. Oz is a quack. I've seen him give free passes to all kinds of alternative-medicine razzmatazz, while he continues to propagate diet myths like ultra-low-fat diets. He's also a bit of a misandrist who tries hard to project an alpha-male image to his mostly female audience.

Dr Oz was brought to us by Oprah, the queen of the new-age frauds.
Anything Oprah supports should be rejected by all sane people on the principle that she's nothing more than a cult leader.
Homeopathy is bullshit on stilts. Water does not "remember" anything. Any recipe that calls for facing a specific way while shaking a bottle a certain number of times during a certain phase of the moon is hogwash.
There will never be peer-reviewed science on homeopathy because homeopathic remedies are chemically indistinguishable from placebo.
