No Burkas Allowed? No Problem.
Here's Raymond Ibrahim on why more Muslim women are flocking to France than before they had the burka ban there:
Islam's doctrine of taysir allows for hiyla, or the relaxation of Islamic law whenever Muslims find it inconvenient to uphold aspects of Sharia law, like when they are under infidel/Western authority. In fact, some of Islam's top leaders, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, for example, are great advocates of taysir, "especially for those Muslim minorities living in Europe and America."Taysir is like a broader concept of taqiyya, which permits Muslims to lie when circumstances call for it, while taysir only permits Muslims to drop aspects of Sharia law when circumstances call for it.
But there is another distinction. The Gulf women traveling to France are tourists who are not nearly as acquainted with the West as their American counterparts. They naturally assume the West is like the Islamic world--actually tenacious about its customs and laws, hardly to be pushed around by minority groups. (This is precisely why Muslims in the West shamelessly push for the Ground Zero mosque -- Muslims in the Middle East can't believe it and think it's a Zionist conspiracy.)
Muslims living in the West, on the other hand, know how easily the West can be pushed into submission...
For sure those islamic women, whatever they wear, and whenever they are not displaying their typical islamic bullying characterictics, are a manipulative lot using their islamic religious privilege for their personal gain and further their islamic agenda whenever they were given an oppportunity by their islamic community or other nonislamic community.
They want the best from the West, received western education, get better jobs, became more wealthy and yet cling on to their islamic ideology, even when it is incompatible with the West and caused harm to the advancement of the West.

I would offer that the reason why Islamic women are going to France is because they many don't want to wear the Halloween-esque outfit. In the marketplace of ideas, victims of oppression will flee to the country where they are most free.

Free to bully and intimidate us nonbelievers?
I as a nonbeliever had been verbally abused and mistreated by even socalled moderate islamic women who don't cover their face or who don't cover head to toe. I just hope those islamic women would also stop intimidating a nonbeliever like myself in public places with their whatever version of their islamic outfits. Of course those islamic women don't complaint much when they are free to splurge on their shopping spree in France and free to intimidate and oppress any nonbelievers that they don't like. Those rich islamic women are free to go on their holidays in France and yet want to misled us nonbelievers that they are not free?!!!

And many of them who don't wear the halloween costume are also oppressing us disadvantaged poor nonbelievers, simply because we are poor nonbelievers and oppose their islamic hypocrisy.
