Why I Don't Move To Saudi Arabia To Start Saudi HUSTLER
Well, okay, so there are practical reasons: 1. I think I might have a hard time getting into the country. 2. I'd most likely be arrested and jailed, and I might be hurt or killed.
But, Muslims are moving to Western countries and trying to reshape life there to fit their Dark Ages religion. Rebecca Camber writes in The Daily Mail of an attempt to have an Islamic takeover of certain areas of Britain:
Islamic extremists have launched a poster campaign across the UK proclaiming areas where Sharia law enforcement zones have been set up.Communities have been bombarded with the posters, which read: 'You are entering a Sharia-controlled zone - Islamic rules enforced.'
The bright yellow messages daubed on bus stops and street lamps have already been seen across certain boroughs in London and order that in the 'zone' there should be 'no gambling', 'no music or concerts', 'no porn or prostitution', 'no drugs or smoking' and 'no alcohol'.
Hate preacher Anjem Choudary has claimed responsibility for the scheme, saying he plans to flood specific Muslim and non-Muslim communities around the UK and 'put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term'.
In the past week, dozens of streets in the London boroughs of Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets and Newham have been targeted, raising fears that local residents may be intimidated or threatened for flouting 'Islamic rules'.
As Melody, who sent this link to me, wrote in her email:
If they don't like the British laws, don't move to Britain. This is scary.

Here's what Pat Condell has to say about it.

They seem to get all their porn off the net anyway, so beyond it being impossible, it probably wouldn´t make money anyway.
All these islamists consume alot of porn all the same.
Bobby at July 30, 2011 8:40 AM
We have to take page from the book of the left, and change the labels of the debate. Islam is both a religion and a totalitarian ideology.
Lets focus on the secular part, "Sharia Law." Not "Islam." The message that Sharia is a totalitarian ideology that is incompatible with western values.
Rick at July 30, 2011 9:11 AM
The problem is that for Moslems born and raised in Britain, they are merely demanding "democracy."
If the majority of the population of a town thinks that prostitution is evil, you can expect a local government to crack down on it. What if "prostitution" is defined by that majority as "any single woman walking around in public without a chaperone"?
Why shouldn't cities with Moslem majorities impose Sharia? The proper answer is that freedom is not the same as democracy.
And we're about to get a crash course in this in Europe, over the next 100 years.

Sharia law is not a religion, you do not see the catholic or Jewish peoples in countries trying to force everyone where they live to stop doing things that are more than likely perfectly legal (drinking, dancing etc.) You know they are not policing the areas that they live in, arresting people for not following their religious beliefs. I have a friend who was raised in a faith that said girls should not cut their hair, wear pants, no dancing or drinking. Had I not met her, I probably would not have even know this religion and views existed. They were not out policing the streets and forcing everyone in the area to do what they said. No one in her family ever said anything to me about my cut hair, or pants, or dancing! They didn't try to arrest the ones in their church who didn't obey. This is just absolutely intolerable.
Melody at July 30, 2011 10:20 AM
I will take it a step further. I was raised in a catholic household, but realized they were full of it at a very young age. My family has not tried to disown me for not participating in what they do as far as the religion is concerned. They have not shun me. They have not killed me. I am sure if it were Sharia I was raised under, and walked the same path as not buying into it, I would not be alive today. Antoine, I do not believe they want democracy. The ones trying to force the whole to live as they do. They want Control.
Melody at July 30, 2011 10:25 AM

I watched that video Ray posted. Even if it is not such a "serious" matter at this moment.. this is dangerous stuff. Ignore it your peril. This I believe.

Islam is an evil totalitarian political system pretending to be a religion. That pretense fools fools, earning Islam a seeming legitimacy it doesn't deserve. Like Nazism, Islam must be obliterated.
Michael P (@PizSez) at July 30, 2011 10:43 AM
"They want Control."
Yup.
I've realized that serious practicioners of Islam (not the so called moderates) are not compatible with western values or "democracy". Not that we have much of a Republic anymore or democracy.
For the PC crowd, just pretend you read the above as "Thats racist!".

http://www.advicegoddess.com/archives/2011/07/30/why_i_dont_move.html#comment-2387706">comment from MelodyMelody, I think Antoine's talking about democracy as "majority rules," and a desire to do that through immigration and birth rate to change the majority in a country to mainly Muslim. The view of democracy is not one of freedoms that we see as cornerstones of Western democracies -- America being the most free.

I share what I perceive as Amy's view that tolerance ends at the point where you want to poison my culture with yours. Unfortunately, taking the high road only seems to embolden these idiots.
I'll write back when I have the answer.

I agree with Rick. The Left is at fault for destroying America from the inside out.
In today's news, some Leftist American farmers threaten to not vote for Leftist Republican politicians if they put through a bill forcing the farmers to comply with immigration law:

Darned Leftist Farmers and Leftist Republicans hate America, darn it.

A decent YouTube debate from a few years back about the question of Muslim integration in secular society.
Tariq Said Ramadan vs. Ayaan Hirsi Ali (who has been mentioned on this blog more than a few times and is good at unmasking evil.

Oh, and Britain has massive gun control, so its not like women without headscarves can fight back when some muslim youth gang tries to rape them in one of the "zones."

You think it'll take that long? I give it 25 years or so, definitely by 2050 when you see Muslim majorities emerge in European countries.
And that's the problem with democracy: your rights are good only so long as you can get 51% of your fellows to back you.

This. Although the U.S.A. is a democratic republic, not a strict democracy, the idea is close enough, and, I believe, what the Sharia adherents desire. Elect enough people to create the laws like "we" want 'em, and before you know it, it'll be illegal for women to drive, or walk down the street without a chaperone. And this will be enforceable law.
I am all for religious freedom, but I shiver when I drive past one of the several new mosques in my city....with more being built all the time. If it were only a religion....
gharkness at July 30, 2011 4:37 PM
The other shame is that I will guarantee that most Muslims in these neighborhoods don't want this. This is nothing more that mafioso-style strong arm tactics.
Joe at July 30, 2011 4:41 PM
Gog, my post does not attribute the problems to the left. I merely suggested that we need to use their successful tactics of using different labels. As long as we allow the debate to be about Islam we people will allow their views of religious freedom to cloud their ability to see the real problem.
Islam does have a religious component, but Sharia Law is a secular component, and the source of the conflict with western values. If Muslims would restrict their activities to the religious component of Islam we would have little or no problem. It is the expectation that we allow them to impose the secular component of Sharia.
So, again we have to stop making it sound like we have a dispute with Islam and make it sound as if our dispute is with Sharia Law.
Rick at July 30, 2011 4:51 PM
@ Rick - totally get it - but it's not just the 'Left' that uses the tactic.
Heck, just look at the names of some our most disgusting legislation - the Defense of Marriage Act, for instance.
I think it would be more accurate to say "disgusting politicians".
Which might actually be redundant, now that I look at it.
Gog_Magog_Carpet_Reclaimers at July 30, 2011 5:04 PM
The reason they're doing this in England is because the English are not legally allowed to defend themselves.
They won't try it here before we have a total ban on self-defense. Because if I'm walking down the street and some Imam tries to take my music away from me, his arm is gonna come back minus a hand.
brian at July 30, 2011 7:01 PM
Their sharia had actually caused more misbehaviours, disorders, more irrational intolerance, more uncivilised behaviours, more insanity and more backwardness.

You worry too much about islam in the US, demographics show that US is going to be latino before the muslim group ever get big.
Now, on the bright side, latino are christian.
nico@hou at July 31, 2011 12:59 AM
Even though 'latino are christian', most of them may most probably have similar social related problems or other similarities with most islamic tribes and that is another worrying trend.

"Even though 'latino are christian', most of them may most probably have similar social related problems or other similarities with most islamic tribes..."
Really? Unless we are talking about the gangs, or the La Raza militants, most latinos seem to be ordinary people doing their best for their families.
I avoid bad neighborhoods and annoying people.
