My second show is tonight -- 7 p.m. Pacific time, 10 p.m. Eastern, for an hour, and I NEED YOUR CALLS!
If you're willing to call, please let me know (comments or email me at adviceamy at AOL dot com) so I know I'll have some people to talk with.
The show is:
Nationally syndicated advice columnist Amy Alkon takes your questions on love, dating, sex, relationships, and manners.
It's most fun and most interesting (and I get in "the zone") when you call and I can play off of you. So don't be shy -- call-in number once the show is on and live (at 7 p.m.): (347) 326-9761
You can listen live at this link starting at 7 p.m. Pacific Time (10 p.m. Eastern, etc.):

There will also be a podcast you can download later.
The show will air weekly at 7 p.m. Pacific on Sunday nights. For a link to the regular Sunday night show:

You can go to that regular link to download the podcast after the show (you may have to wait a few minutes or an hour for it to post). "Play in your default player" downloads it as a podcast. "Download" makes it play on your computer. Yeah, a little bassackwards. Sorry.

Feel free to suggest topics you'd like me to discuss.

I'll try to call in. I have a party this evening and don't know what time I'll be getting in. The Occupy Wall Street movement is one I'm starting to pay attention to. I was curious enough to visit the protest site last night and talk to many of the people there. I was very surprised to see that it is quite different than what I'm seeing on the news. Also, most of the protesters were speaking very highly of the cops saying that they were not giving them a hard time and in fact have been very nice.

I thought I might call in relation to your question last week about giving a gift book. I once gave a book to a woman I was thinking of asking out (we were friends - it wasn't out of nothing). The reason was that I wanted to know what her reaction was before I devoted any time to pursuing her.
It was a good learning experience for me.
The book was "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by the way.

You sounded great, Amy. You have a good radio voice and kept it flowing. I'll call in next time if I can think of a question.
