Here is another nice post on that site: Victorian portraits, formal and impromptu, but unlike the stern visages common to photos of that age, everyone here is having a good time. Except for the first one, maybe, but she's kind of haunting.

By the way, don't you think the Dr. McCoy picture would have worked better if there had been a bone saw in the photo?
