Just what Detroit needs...

Snoopy,
The sad thing is that, in Detroit, as well as many other places in America, those buildings would probably be razed and replaced, instead of renovated.

Just like Cuba--most trendy types I know love how decrepit Havana is, and think it should stay that way.

I'd love to revisit all the places in East Germany 1983 that I took pictures of, now that many years have gone by, and hopefully things have gotten better...

There's probably someone out there thinking "Wow, look at all the energy the North Koreans are saving!"

Off topic sort of, but can I just say I am sick and tired of haveing to click thru 37 pages to see the photos, and the 37 different top and side web based advertisments? Or news articles on the web spread across 7 different web pages?
I realise they probably make more money that way but I'm getting sick of it

"most trendy types I know love how decrepit Havana is, and think it should stay that way. "
That figures, doesn't it? The hipsters are more interested in having their fucking fashion playground than they are in the people who actually live there.
I don't question their patriotism. I diss it.

Martin: and it's a crime to show anyone in North Korea that picture.
Lujlp: AdBlock Plus. Or search the term, "safari style sheet block ads".

@Raddy -- Get Ghostery and XMarks too. Almost zip in advertisements.
If we nuke them at night we just have to put an EO AGM-65 Maverick seeker head on the bomb. ;-)
