He's also like 150 years old by now, and recognizable to 99% of the population, so try telling me that the TSA attention whore that did this wasn't trying to get their name in the news, knowing that there are no repercussions for bad behavior.
I can hear the convo behind the line now "Hey, Bert, here comes William Shatner! Watch while I humiliate him and get my name in the news!"

Eh, the man left his belt in his luggage and his pants fell down. From the article it doesn't seem that the TSA pantsed him.
Next time do what I do: belt AND suspenders, plus staple the shirt to the pants (for the added bonus of never leaving the house mis-matched).
