Thank you, Amy. This guy kept his explination simple. For someone who enjoys science quite a bit (but does not have the experience to sort this stuff out) I really appreciate simplicity.
What is amazing to me is that, in a hundred years - (taking away nothing from the importance of this discovery by the way) we will have some new Higgs Boson particle type discovery....redering this one obsolete.

Physicist Garret Lisi gets it pretty right. But right at the moment -- can you do it again and get more out than you put in?
I'll take one of those in my basement. Think of laser powered by 125 gigaelectronvolts. That could probably cut a .00075 MM hole in butter.
