TSA: Is The Real Mission Catching Terrorists Or Jailing You For That Doobie In Your Backpack?
Do people blow up trains with unsmoked joints? I was under the impression that it took some sort of explosive. Well, I must be wrong, because the TSA are, more and more, being sighted at locations outside the airport -- like at a Houston bus station, a Chicago train station, and now a train station in Oceanside, CA. Surely, this is only about keeping us, ahem, "safe":

Papers please.
Kiss My Ass!!
I really want to see what happens when TSA agents try to insist on searching a CCW holder in a public place.
Or even just someone who knows their rights.

I work in NYC, and the NYPD have been doing random bag searches at the entrance to the subway for years now. To date, they haven't found ONE bomb or other terrorist type weapon. By far the largest number of arrests are drug arrests (generally someone was stupid enough to let them search their bag when they had their stash in there), followed by disorderly conduct (i.e. objecting to being searched in a manner displeasing to the officer, or contempt-of-cop).
I always refuse to be searched and take alternate transportation. Actually if I see them there with their little search-table I just go to a different entrance.
