Obama Supporters Confronted With The President's Record On Surveillance, Detention, Kill Lists
Scott Schackford posts at reason that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz isn't the only one who's clueless about what the president she's supporting is up to.
He posts a video from WeAreChange.org that pulls a little trick:
They detail a bunch of Romney's positions on surveillance, detention and drone strikes that just so happen to match Obama's. When supporters think these are Romney's positions, they are quick to judge him as bad and dangerous. But then the reporter tells them that these positions are also Obama's and detail actions he's taking right now. And then? Watch:

You've got to respect most of the people who were interviewed. When confronted with the truth, they didn't say "Obama would never do that", or "If Obama did it, it's OK." They said, in effect, that they still opposed his rights violations but had other reasons for supporting him which were more important. I don't agree with them, of course, but that's a reasonable position to take.
What they didn't say, but could have, is that on these issues Romney is unlikely to be any better.

To me it just shows the selective blindness of voters, and deliberate selective blinding by partisan media. I have to say Romney probably would keep most of those policies, but Obama is the one who actually has done them.

Apart from the couple of mentions of Obamacare, I doubt they could list any "other reasons." They are just as clueless about all the other things Obama has done. I also am willing to bet if you started asking them specifics about Obamacare they would be equally clueless.

Be careful what you wish for. If the Republicans get control of Congress, I'm pretty sure we'll be worse off with Romney than with Obama. (Vice versa if the Democrats do.)
