Excellent, excellent video! I love it.
ASL is a wonderful, and very expressive language depending, of course, upon the signer. I took a semester of ASL in college and was amazed at how different signers can make the language seem lively or dead - just like someone who has a very expressive and lively voice or someone who speaks in a deadpan monotone voice. Lydia Callis is great!
BTW, do any of Amy's readers speak Spanish? I don't; But, everytime I hear Nanny-Bloomberg end his news conferences with a "summary" for Spanish Speakers he sounds soooo flat, as if he doesn't speak spanish and is simply reading from a phonetic script. So, I was wondering what real Spanish speakers think when he does this. Does he sound like he knows what he is saying? or is he just faking it?
