THE nation's most senior Muslim cleric has blamed immodestly dressed women who don't wear Islamic headdress for being preyed on by men and likened them to abandoned "meat" that attracts voracious animals.

In a Ramadan sermon that has outraged Muslim women leaders, Sydney-based Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali also alluded to the infamous Sydney gang rapes, suggesting the attackers were not entirely to blame.

...In the religious address on adultery to about 500 worshippers in Sydney last month, Sheik Hilali said: "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?

"The uncovered meat is the problem."

The sheik then said: "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred."

He said women were "weapons" used by "Satan" to control men.

Wait till the followers of Mohammed become the majority. Do they make burkas that large?

Totally removing ANY blame on the men for not being able to exercise even a tiny modicum of self-control. Because it's never the man's fault, right?

I am soon going to be getting a tummy tuck (4 kids and severe diastasis recti and a hernia, what can ya do?) and have of necessity taken one or more kids to a few of my consult appts with various Drs. Some of the nurses are all worried because they have pics of nakedness to show before and afters and they didn't want the kids seeing it. Didn't bother me at all. None even seemed to notice except the 3 year old who said "Look mom, it's a pic of you!"

Nakedness is not to be confused with sexualness, which I would not expose my kids to this young and don't like having all over. Bodies are no big deal to us.

I did worry about sending a message to them that my body isn't good enough, or that they "ruined" me. So we've talked about the medical aspect of it and how they are worth absolutely anything that may have happened to me.
