Feminist Magazine: Eat Cake! Smoke No Bones.
(Especially not for pay!) A tweet:

Feels good when a feminist mag rejects my article about being a sex-worker, but publishes one about how awesome cake is.
Of course, it is possible the article wasn't rejected for subject matter.
But, very often, it's my experience that feminism is fundamentalism.

I'd say it's more like an absolution movement, which is what all of the 20th-century civil rights movements degenerated into. It promises its adherents an overgrown-child libertine life, free of morals or consequences. All they have to do is give their unquestioning loyalty to the movement. The Two Great Sins are: asking questions and having doubts.

Certainly they must be happy that the Pentagon understands the value of soldierettes, pilotesses and sailorenes!

Yes, yes, but will that fit on a bumper sticker?

What's a "feminist" magazine? Vogue? Ms?

On the other hand, maybe it was turned down because she's not a hell of a writer.

Since when did the talent of the writer matter more than her genitals to feminists?

Where is this cake article?

That's what I was thinking. Maybe her article about being a sex-worker just wasn't as good as the article about cake.

In my experience, feminist magazines LOVE articles about sex workers. Maybe they're getting sick of them.

"In my experience, feminist magazines LOVE articles about sex workers."
From what I've seen, that's only true if they have a sob story to tell. One of postmodern feminism's dirty little secrets is that all of the slut walks etc. are actually covering up (not very well) a streak of Grundyism a mile wide. In PM feminism, it's encouraged to have sex with lots of men, but it's verboten to enjoy it.
