With two kids still in high school, these kinds of articles attract my attention.

The "Emoluments of Mars" blog skewers pseudoscientist Mike Bara, author of The Choice and Ancient Aliens on the Moon (Adrienne Loska is Bara's manager).

Here's something kind of interesting: Early 20th century color photos of Paris. These aren't hand-tinted prints; they were created using one of the earliest color photography processes, invented in 1903.
