Ah their ladies must have gone off to nest. I have two males and one female that hang out in my yard this time of year. It's always the same three - I know this because the males have very distinctive markings. Love the pic Amy!

Four young drakes hanging out together? Obviously, they're up to no good!

It's always so hard to get your ducks in a row like that.

I'd complain to the librarian about their fowl presence. There is no reason for you to duck these loiterers.

You're lucky to have not gotten the full TSA treatment. Four young drakes just looking for trouble. And it being that time of year, they can be quite aggressive.

How cute! We never get ducks at my library. The occasional stray dog who figured out how to use the automatic door and the feral cats who live in the parking lot, but no ducks. Oh, and I forgot the dead deer parts in our parking lot earlier this winter. Does that count?

My sister-in-law had ducks hanging out at her house this winter, camping under their evergreen trees. The trees are big so there was very little snow in the yard.
It was quite a sight, as we're talking about a couple of hundred ducks, at least. We only went by to see them once. They were all over the place and in no rush, so traffic was slow. They attracted a lot of attention while they were there.
