I always thought it would be cool if my skeleton became a part of some bone lab, museum collection, or quirky art project. After I'm done with it, of course.

If you're in Philly, the Mutter Museum has a bunch of cool and odd stuff in jars.
I will be glad when you post something different, Amy. This image is disgusting, and I'd just as soon it get scrolled out of sight by subsequent blog postings.

The government invention part of this is standard micro managing crap by people who don't understand the first amendment.
What bothers me more, is the people who have figured out that the government and medical industry nutrition studies are crap, but still believe that in every other area of medicine these people are treating you and your conditions in accordance with strict " evidence based" medince.

Some evidence-based medicine actually is and some is not. Unfortunately, few journalists reporting on science know how to read more than a university's press release about them or know who to turn to for help reading a study when they can't assess some of the math or methodology properly. (They likewise don't know to look for a body of work on a subject and not just a single study, because it's important to see that results are replicated -- and ideally, over and over. They likewise don't know the difference between a cohort study (observational study) -- basically, what I call a leap of faith after the fact) and a randomized, blinded, controlled one.
