Here's a video from my time at the breeders' in New Jersey yesterday.
About the other dogs in the video: This wonderful woman who adopted Aida's sister, Aria, brought her over yesterday. She's a Chinese Crested puff (soft hair all over) while my doggie, Aida, is a Chinese Crested hairless -- the slate-gray doggie with the white hairy bits. Miss Chanel, the bigger doggie, is also a puff.
I am so lucky to have this amazing dog!
Oh, that's me, lying back on the ground, being roamed over by puppies!

I'm so happy for you both!

I think you might have to let it sit for a sec for the video to come up.

Is it me or does Aida kinda look like Paris Hilton?

Oh, I hope I get to see the video! Being roamed over by puppies ... I can't imagine anything better. They always smell so sweet, and I love their little noses. Nothing like a puppy.
Ppen, I've got TWO pugs today, both of them many years past being puppies. Higgins is 12, and old age has not been kind to him. He's arthritic, diabetic, and blind as a bat. Poor old fella. I've been taking care of him since yesterday, just until his owner picks him up this afternoon.
But he has to have insulin shots with his meals, twice a day, and the trick is to keep Holly away from him so he can eat his food. She's so evil, she's not even above stealing food from an old blind dog. She won't go as far as to take it right out of his bowl, but she'll stand there watching him like a hawk, just waiting for him to drop a piece on the floor. Which happens pretty often.
So I put Holly up on top of the bed in the bedroom, which is too tall for her to jump down from, and got Higgins started on his supper. He starts eating, I give him his shot, and it hasn't been two minutes, when here comes this piteous CRYING from the other room. Holly was beside herself, sobbing with grief at being stuck up on the bed and not being able to get his food, being left out of all the fun.
Well it is heartbreaking to make a sweet little old pug lady cry, but I couldn't help it - I was laughing my ass off at the same time. One look at her and you would know she gets enough to eat. She's a touch overweight, not by much, but she certainly doesn't need to eat another dog's food. God how that dog makes me laugh.
I just love having dogs in my life. They're better than any TV show, plus they'll take any love you give them, multiply it by ten, and give it right back. Pure gold, right there.

Great story PirateJo. Love it!
I could read pug stories all day. Pug screams are the funniest. They act as if you are burning them with 1,000 suns. Once I had to leave my puggie in the car to get something from my trunk. He only calmed down when I made a peace offering of a french frie.
I love love love senior dogs. Especially old as hell pugs. I like them better than puppies (I know sacrilege). They turn into unsliced doughy loafs of bread. My next dog or cat will be a senior.

Looks like another instance supporting my idea of the "Puppy Mob" business. Someone gets about half a dozen puppies together and goes to businesses where the puppies are allowed to romp all over the workers for about half an hour. Better than a coffee break.
Though, of course, the "shelf life" of puppies isn't terribly long meaning replacements would have to be available in a steady stream but I think people would dig it.

Wow - sheer joy!
And actually, it's good for socializing the puppies -- being around strangers, strange environment.
