Almost everything I do on-line (posting, blogs, etc.) is under a psuedomyn (the one I'm using now). I've been doing this for years, long before anybody realized how damaging an on-line presence can be. Now, I'm no longer in the dating game, but I would definitely tell someone about any bad stuff about me on-line before getting to the sexual encounter stage, including my pseudonym activity. Fortunately, my real self doesn't show up in anything bad. If it did, I would also disclose that before anything sexual happened.
