I met Geoff Lillemon when he lived in Charlotte, before he started Oculart. Now he's famous, living in Amsterdam and getting paid to make weird stuff. Here's his site: http://www.geoffreylillemon.com/NEW_UPDATE/
You've probably heard this already, but there's an active shooter situation at the Washington Navy Yard. Four people have been killed so far. According to WTOP radio, one shooter has been "neutralized," whatever that means. Police are looking for a second shooter (not that anyone's sure there really is one, but it's standard procedure). The link to the CNN story is here.

Come on, America, where's the justice? Of the 29 people he shot, only four of them actually died, and only two of those were his parents!

And if any victim had simply shot back, the public would not be burdened with him.

A close friend of mine works for a well known grocery chain, middle level management. Great guy, responsible, never been out of work a day in his life. He is being forced to take a "sexual harassment awareness" seminar, for slouching in his seat.
One of the upper managers is a woman who was giving a presentation, and she didn't like the way he was sitting, and claimed he wasn't showing her the proper respect she deserved as his superior.
I don't think that would fly here in Idaho, but some of the stories I hear from the coastal states just defy belief.

500 greatest poems, an obviously subjective list, because there's some real crap here.
Here's a clip from a Charlie Brown special that you haven't seen. Linus sings Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police.
