I loved her to pieces and really missed her and was very sad for a while. Gregg said he'd get me another dog and did. It took a lot to find her and to convince the breeders that we would be right for her. And I had to fly to New Jersey to get her, but she is a very special little dog and brightens my life all day.

The breeders are also amazing people, and told me to ask any question anytime, and mean it. I just wrote them asking a bunch of questions about feeding her and the dad (T), answered right away, at length, and was super helpful. These people are not merely selling dogs -- they care deeply about their welfare. The only reason Aida was still available is that she needed to have a one-on-one situation with a human -- which is exactly what I can provide. I apologized early on that I'm "not a dog park girl." Well, she's not a dog park dog. She's in my lap all day while I'm writing and then we nap together (she puts her little snout on my neck or shoulder) and then I write more. We play in between. She has great spirit and is super-smart and agile, and even has a sense of humor. She thinks it's hilarious to tease you…to pretend to come over and then tear off, or to take off with some object.
