Breaking The Law By Providing Poor People With Low-Cost Dental Care
The Arkansas dental board doesn't allow an orthodontist to clean teeth. Because orthodontists are somehow incapable of doing this? No, out of protectionism for dentists.

Cue all the knee-jerk fascist apologists telling us why 'there's a very good reason' only licensed dentists should ever be allowed to clean teeth.

It's particularly ridiculous considering that it's perfectly legal for an assistant or hygenist to clean your teeth. If the hygenist is working for a DDS or an orthodontist, what difference does it make? When was the last time you went to the dentist and the dentist him/her self actually did your teeth cleaning?
