Advice Goddess Radio, LIVE (*different time!), 4-5 pm PT: Dr. Jonah Berger On The Science Of What Makes Ideas And Products Go Viral
Tonight's show explores what drives word-of-mouth -- that sometimes free but always highly valuable person-to-person advertising and recommending of products, ideas, and behaviors.
My guest tonight, Wharton marketing professor Dr. Jonah Berger, will debunk the myths and lay out what the research says about how we can design products, ideas, and behaviors so people will talk about them. In other words, so they'll catch on.
Berger's book we'll be discussing is Contagious: Why Things Catch On.

Is your book on Audible or a similar service?
Who reads it?
The guy who did Hitchens' God book was convincingly British, but oft-overwhelmed by the vocabulary.

Book is on Audible, read by Carrington MacDuffie, and she is great. I wanted someone who could read humor. I was concerned that I not get a reader who reads cute, because my humor is not cute. I also wanted someone with a deep voice.

Another interesting interview.
I'm sort along the line with your caller. I sort of don't give a crap if the the company is doing volunteer work.
The bank I worked for supported relay for live and they took gifts to the local nursing home at Christmas. But that was pretty much it.
If they had done a bunch of other stuff on a normal basis I would have gotten out a lot sooner.

And thank you!
