10 Acts Of Jihad In America That Americans Haven't Heard About
From Robert Spencer at JihadWatch. Here's one:
5. Florida: Muslim who threatened "2nd 911″ found guilty of terror chargesIn mid-June, a Tampa Muslim named Sami Osmakac was convicted of plotting to bomb a Tampa bar and then blow himself up in a jihad-martyrdom suicide attack in another crowded area of the city. Osmakac said of non-Muslims: "We will go after every one of them, their kindergartens, their shopping centers, their nightclubs, their police stations, their courthouses and everything until we have an Islamic state the whole world."
Sura 9:5 from the Quran:
And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
The ridiculousness is our notion that we will stop the jihad commanded by Islam by repurposing Cinnabon workers, dressing them up in faux cop uniforms, and stationing them at airports to feel us up and violate our Fourth Amendment rights.
As I write here:
If the TSA's actual mission were its stated one - "protect(ing) the Nation's transportation systems" - checkpoints wouldn't be staffed by low-wage, unskilled workers, and they wouldn't be searching everyone. They certainly wouldn't be waiting until terrorists get to the airport to root them out. Meaningful measures to thwart terrorist acts require highly trained law enforcement officers using targeted intelligence to identify suspects long before they launch their plots.
Damn, now I want a Cinnabon.

Why try to sneak a bomb onto a plane?
How about the holding pen, er, queuing area before security?
Easier still, a crowded mall in December?
George Carlin said it best, the reason is to make white people feel safer.

Why try to sneak a bomb onto a plane?
One can subvert a TSA agent to get your material thru. All you need to do is find one with sticky fingers, then blackmail them into allowing drugs thru. Give them a cut of the money. Now you own them. Bombs? AK-47s? RPG-7s? not a problem.
How about the holding pen, er, queuing area before security?
I'd say the holding pen is a better choice than a mall, because everyone is conveniently crowded together. One bomber per line, one satchel charge in a carry on, one suicide vest. Detonate the satchel charge in the x ray machine at the same time the vest goes off. Has the added benefit of turning the x ray machine into shrapnel.
Easier still, a crowded mall in December?
Well, if you follow my first step and import some explosives, AK-47s (the select fire versions) and RPG-7s.

Who believes that ISIS hasn't moved their followers and probably a load of weapons into the U.S. by now?
A thing to think about is 9/11 is fifteen days away. Think what multiple teams could do in the Mall of America and other places with the right explosives and firearms. It could look like the Westgate Mall in Kenya.

For my own safety I'm going to assume the guys they're sneaking in through the open Mexican border are better than the guys who are volunteering to go over there.
Case in point.

They probably are. But they've probably sent one or two back who have U.S. passports to meet them at the border and get them to a safe haven.

Rochester, NY: Muslim charged with plotting jihad murder of U.S. troops and Shi’ites in western New York
Such muslim-on-muslim brutality is why there will be no House of Peace, should Islam take over the world.

Why try to sneak a bomb onto a plane?
Several reasons, a plane is a multiplier if it works. Planes are relatively fragile machines full of people, damage one enough and you get everyone on board plus others wherever it crashes, with bonus of hundreds of lbs of feul. 911 was done with glorified knives. thousands dead in an hour with glorified knives. The negative it's all or nothing.
Explosives vs crowds or lines, you'll get some people but not hundreds let alone thousands.

Yep, this here. For the Truly RighteousTM there will always be someone who is Doing It Wrong, and must be made to Do It Right.

joe j: There aren't going to be any more 911's - that was only possible because our government had persuaded both passengers and crew to be compliant with hijackers demands, and that's not going to happen anymore. So if you smuggle a bomb onto an airplane or try to hijack it, the most you can expect to kill is the passengers and crew on one airplane. (There's a small chance of the airplane crashing on top of more people, but you can't control where it crashes and most of the USA is still empty land. Look at how rarely a meteorite hits anyone.)
At certain times, airport security will have the passengers for several airplanes lined up outside the security perimeter. If a terrorist group can carry in enough explosives to kill them all, they would achieve the second-highest terrorist death toll ever - without having to learn how to fly an airliner, without smuggling bombs or weapons through security, and without having to die with their victims. They could build a bomb into a carry-on style bag with a 5 minute timer, start the timer and drop the bag as inconspicuously as possible, and walk away. Even if someone immediately notices the abandoned bag, there's no time for evacuation, or for removing or defusing the bomb.
The bomber might even get away without being identified on security tapes and be able to repeat this tactic elsewhere. But he wouldn't need to get away clean, just to get away - after pulling off something like this just once, he could promote himself to terrorist leader, making plans and training young fools to deliver the bombs. There are a thousand jihad-struck fools who could follow a simple plan for every person who could make a good plan and get the bomb materials into the country. The worst case is that someone connects the bomber to the abandoned bag and flags down security before he gets out of sight - but that would most likely get a few poorly prepared guards shot while the bomber gets away. Then the massive and belated police response trying to catch the bomber would block access for the EMT's and ambulances and ensure many more victims would bleed to death.
