Socialists Succumb To "Capitalist Greed"
Love this -- the Freedom Socialist Party is pushing for the minimum wage to be $20 an hour...but just posted an ad for a web developer who'll be paid $13.
Zenon Evans posts at reason:
Although the average annual salary of a web developer in the U.S. is around $62,500, the Freedom Socialist Party only wants to pay $13 an hour, which would be $26,000 a year. Except that the party won't hire someone full-time, so their next web developer's total compensation won't even be that modest chunk of change.

Greedy exploiters. No matter what they call themselves, they are what they are.

Liberals embrace what I call the Fallacy of Participation.
( There is already a reference to this name, but I don't mean that one. It is funny to try to read the summary. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1469-5812.2006.00185.x/abstract )
All of the problems in life come from holdouts, rotten people usually Republicans who won't go along with the program. These holdouts ruin life for the rest of the people, the liberals and the poor.
So, the Freedom Socialist Party doesn't see itself as hypocritical. They are constrained by the brutal reality created by current capitalism and all of the holdouts. They just don't have the money to pay more, and they have important goals. They believe that minimum wage legislation, requiring everyone to do the right thing, will change life in a way which will also allow everyone to pay that wage, including them. They don't know exactly how this will happen, but they are sure it will. Or, if it doesn't happen, the next set of regulations will have that good effect. Everyone must follow the plan and all of the plans after that.
This is something like the rules for a seance, contact with the spirit world. If even one person does not believe or breaks the chain, then the seance will fail.

I'll bet $100 that the money they are offering is supplied by a government grant.
