Actually, as is pointed out at the link, the USPTO has no authority to ban a name.
And really, we can have 'truck nuts' but not 'comfyballs'? I would rather have the latter, personally.

As one of the comments at the link states:
"No, the USPTO does not have the power to "ban" a company from using a trade name. They can use "Comfyballs" all they want and they will accrue trademark rights by doing so. The USPTO merely refused to register their mark, effectively denying them some of the extra trademark benefits that federal registration provides."
