It's time for you to express your admiration with all the financial tribute, sexual access and petty amusement your souls can compose.

The rich colors of the shop signs are amusing. Also, the snow on the ground because we're in Southern California! Hah to those of you who are uncomfortable!
(We know you'll be laughing at us when the quake finally hits. Because property values. Also food riots.)

Maybe not quite, Cridmo. But I still loves ya!

Did a breakdown of that last week: It's sillyness for apple-polishers. I wrote a whole thing about it, but it was for family: See Douthat, who drinks the Cool-aid but then sobers up for his last paragraph.

Wonderful, sunny thaw here in NoVa today. Very welcome after a snowy, slushy Saturday and what passes for a snowstorm out here earlier last week.
Hey Flynne: How are you folks getting along up north, where Old Man Winter is a little more serious?

Fourteen months later and it's still a good read.

Friend in Orange, Va had 6 inches of snow on top of an existing 6 inches followed by sleet.
We are looking at a Monday of 28F w/sleet but back to 40's on Tuesday so So. Cal. doesn't look too bad.
Bob in Texas at February 22, 2015 12:59 PM
Crid; is that photo really in So Cal? The tags on the Ford, on the left, look like PA.
Anyway, that collection of shops is a great punch line.

Charles- No, I'm shitty at jokes. I was trying to say that Southern California DOESN'T look like that...
Though actually it's been grey here all day.
But no snow at sea level.

Every business in that photo is a franchise, so I don't know how to find out where it was taken. You're probably right about Pennsylvania.
Mostly I'm amused that the snow has such a strong blue tint, yet it looks perfectly appropriate for the overall color scheme of the photo.

Ah, there it is. (Note power lines at top right.)
You were right, Pennsylvania.
Bing version.
The internet is incredible.
